The Role

The Deckhand (AB) / Cook has responsibility for providing all catering services in a safe and hygienic manner in addition to taking all necessary actions for safety, security, pollution prevention and efficient operation of the ship.

Principal Responsibilities

• Carrying out all orders and instructions in a safe and efficient manner
• Form part of a mooring and anchoring party 
• Ship husbandry tasks 
• Ship operational tasks for example, Mooring work, Support to trial teams, Loading and unloading 
• Operate deck machinery when suitably trained or qualified 
• Provide catering services for 7 crew and clients onboard the vessel
• Undertake training as required to comply with Company regulations and legislative requirements
